ivana's chocolate cake
🥄 INGREDIENTS (CAKE)
- 150g dark chocolate
- 50g butter
- 3 eggs
- 100g sugar
- vanilla extract to taste
- 100g plain flour
- 16g baking powder
🥄 INGREDIENTS (GANACHE)
- 50g dark chocolate
- 150g milk chocolate
- 30g butter
- 200ml vegan whipped cream
🥄 OVEN
preheated at 170°C, lower to 150° if needed
🥄 STEPS
Melt dark chocolate with butter and set it aside.
In a bowl, mix sugar and eggs with a whisk, adding in the vanilla. Once it's all mixed properly, add the previously melted chocolate, the flour and the baking powder.
Butter and flour your cake mold, pour in the mixture and bake in the oven for around 25-30 minutes.
In a small pan, melt dark chocolate, milk chocolate, butter and whipped cream on low heat.
Once the cake is ready, let it cool down completely, then pour the mixture on top of it and refrigerate for 2 hours at least.
You can then decorate with extra whipped cream on top.
